Statement of Work (SOW) Project Number: QSEU 20-0171
Project Title: RPR, Dorm Weather Stripping, Flooring, and Paint B326
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The required work includes the principal features listed below. The outline of principal features does not limit the responsibility of the Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to result in a complete, usable facility.
1.1. Conduct all work in accordance with the contract specifications, all applicable codes, and the construction drawings and details. The Contractor shall comply with the Moody AFB Design Guide, UFC 1-200-01 DOD Building Code, with change 1 and all applicable UFCs.
1.2. The Contractor shall follow all Green Procurement mandates and submittal requirements. The government requires the use of recycled and recovered materials, bio-based products, energy and water saving products, and environmentally preferable products.
1.3. Dispose of all waste generated by this project according to all applicable regulations.
1.4. Work area(s) will be clean and all lights turned off at the end of each workday.
1.5. PPE must be worn at all times by personal on site, including hard hats, steel-toed work shoes, gloves, or as required for the task being performed. All site personnel will wear identification badges and all vehicles/equipment must be properly marked with contractor’s identification.
1.6. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify site conditions, measurements, quantities, and materials needed to complete this project including revisions to the Scope of Work to the extent possible prior to submitting a proposal.
1.7. See SABER Division Specifications for submittal schedule and submittals required.
1.8. High-Visibility Standards: This project will be a high-visibility project. It will receive additional scrutiny from Senior Leaders. Quality of the finished project is very important. Adherence to the schedule is critical.
2. SITE RESTRICTIONS
2.1. Building will be unoccupied during the course of construction.
3. PROJECT SCOPE
3.1. Work shall entail removing, cleaning and reinstalling furniture and appliances; installing new weather stripping around exterior doors; painting doors; flooring replacement; and interior paint in Dorm
Building 326.
4. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
4.1. DORM ROOMS
4.1.1. Weather Stripping: Replace weather stripping around door frame, underneath the exterior doors of the dorm rooms and replace door sweeps. Weather stripping to be equal to or better than existing.
4.1.2. Flooring: Existing carpet tiles, vinyl composition, and ceramic tile to be removed (includes surface scraping) and replaced with a new 7x48 20 mil Luxury Vinyl Plank Pratcraft (LVT) 1439 V Crossover or

4” vinyl cove base. Color to be Johnsonite 40 Black B or equal. Bathroom floor tile is to be deep cleaned.
4.1.3. Walls: Repair/patch, prep, prime and paint the interior living, kitchen, closet and bathroom walls.
Color to be SW7066 ‘Gray Matters’ eggshell by Sherwin-Williams or equal.
4.1.4. Ceiling: Remove all existing texture, patch, prep, prime and paint the ceilings in the interior living, kitchen, closet and bathroom. Color to be Bright White by Sherwin-Williams or equal.
4.1.5. Doors: Prep to include caulking, prime and paint exterior metal door, interior metal door, exterior
HM frame and interior HM frame ‘Moody Bronze’ or equal. Do not paint bifold closet doors.
4.1.6. Furniture & Appliances: All furniture and appliances to be removed by contractor and stored during construction activities. Contractor will ensure all furniture and appliances are cleaned and mold free prior to being stored and after returning to original location. Furniture and appliances to be stored in an environmentally controlled condition. Contractor to return furniture and appliances to original location upon completion.
4.2. DAY ROOM

Contractor will ensure all furniture and appliances are cleaned and mold free prior to being stored and after returning to original location. Furniture and appliances to be stored in an environmentally controlled condition. Contractor to return furniture and appliances to original location upon completion.
