AMC’s largest and busiest contracting squadron.
Provides more than $1 billion in contracting support to the USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, JCSE, 6 AMW, 927 ARW, and 33 other mission partners.
Includes Air Combat Command’s Avon Park Bomb Range.
Awards multi-million dollar complex contracts to maintain combat readiness and sustainability worldwide.
Contracting Squadron Primarily supports 6 AMW for purchase and administration of commodities and services Supports USCENTCOM, USSOCOM and 36 tenants for purchase and administration of commodities and services Administers civil engineer and base infrastructure utility contracts CONS infrastructure, data management, Purchase Card, Quality Assurance and Small Business Programs & Avon Park range operations contract
Flights are organized to provide dedicated support Includes buying “Centers of Excellence” for construction, IT, Medical, etc.

Provide maintenance/repair on all facilities at MacDill AFB Work orders up to 150 hrs are included in FFP of contract Materials reimbursement Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Work Request Management—Work Request Review Board Airfield rubber removal; as required via test results.
Limited paint and floor covering part of FFP on contract Preventive Maintenance Plan (by end of initial transition period)

Desired Outcomes The desired outcomes of the contractor’s efforts for this requirement are:
Continuity of services during transition-in/transition-out periods of performance Base utility and infrastructure systems are fully operational to meet mission requirements Facilities are fully operational to meet mission requirements Efficient and cost effective maintenance of facilities and property Energy consumption reduced annually Flight line is available for operational mission CADD and GIS Systems are current Engineering programs meet the needs of wing and tenant organizations
Desired Outcomes No environmental violations (NOV) or regulatory actions against the base Military population is deployable Base is able to respond to and recover from emergency incidents Accurate reporting of mission capability
Base Tour Personnel are requested to refrain from asking questions during the tour
All questions must be documented in writing and sent to the 6 CONS Contract Specialist (Mr. Patrick Boyette) NLT 1PM on Thursday, March 10th
Personnel must stay with Government escort at all times
Any attempt to disrupt work being performed may result in a request to discontinue the tour
