Tab A
1. Reference PWS paragraph A5.1. We have reviewed all of the TABs in the PWS, and we do not see any workload hours and/or job classifications referenced as “after hours support”. Please provide this information so that this type work can be properly priced.
Answer: Workload will be provided in the PWS.
2. Reference PWS paragraph A5.2. We see in TAB B that the UTA hours specifically states full coverage. We do not specifically see that statement in any of the non-seven day a week TABs. Is the Government expecting full staffing in TABs C and D?
A: The contractor will be available to un-lock and lock-up the building, continuity for current procedures/issues, and provide any required training IAW Tab A12 for both tabs C and D.
3. Reference PWS paragraph A5.2. Are we correct in our assumption that the KTR will not be held responsible for loss and/or damage involving Reservists’ use of Government Property provided to the KTR?
Answer: KTR will not be responsible for loss and/or damage to property caused by the Reservist.
4. Reference PWS paragraph A5.3. As the Base Exercise coverage is considered part of the FFP, please provide information that allows offerors to properly price the potential overtime coverage necessary to accommodate proper exercise coverage.
Answer: Exercises are part of FFP and the workload data given in the Technical Exhibits includes the exercises.
5. Reference PWS paragraph A13.2. Do all of the Government furnished vehicles and equipment that may be used on the flightline have the appropriate rotating yellow beacon or flashing light?
Answer: The vehicle for Airfield Management will have the necessary equipment.
6. Reference PWS paragraph A17.2.1. Is the fuel for Government furnished vehicles and equipment, Government furnished?
Answer: Yes. PWS will be amended to reflect that fuel is Gov’t furnished.
7. Reference PWS paragraph A17.2.2.1. Please confirm that the KTR is responsible for providing all copiers, printer ink, toner and paper.
Answer: Yes the KTR is to provide.
8. Reference PWS paragraph A18.10.1. How many TO Libraries is the KTR responsible for?
A: The contractor will maintain 2 libraries.
9. Reference PWS paragraph A-TE-4e. This item shows that there are 2 lines and 4 phones in Bidg. 312. This bldg. doesn’t exist on the TAB F facilities list. It does however match the bldg. number shown in the Homestead solicitation. Please clarify.
Answer: Bldg number has been corrected.
10. What personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for this contract? Of the PPE required, is the government providing any of the PPE? Will a CLIN be added to the contract for ODC reimbursement for PPE?
Answer: No the government does not provide any PPE. No CLIN will be added to the contract for reimbursement. The contractor should have the technical knowledge to know what PPE is required.
11. Are uniforms required for employees on this contract? If so, will a CLIN be added to the contract for ODC reimbursement for uniforms?
Answer: No, See Tab A, para A2.1.3.1. No CLIN will be added for reimbursement.
