About this file
The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the FA462525R0004 Whiteman AFB Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF) Roofing Replacement project dated 30 Apr 2025. The Q&A addresses two key points from potential bidders: the anticipated Notice to Proceed (NTP) date and warranty requirements.
The government clarified that the NTP is expected in June 2025. Regarding the warranty, the solicitation requires a 5-year warranty, which will be required in writing from the awardee. The government noted that while the contractor's surety company may only provide a standard 2-year warranty, this is acceptable, and the full 5-year warranty must be directly provided by the awarded contractor.
