About this file
This document is a Pre-Bid Questions Memorandum from the 90th Missile Wing (AFGSC) for a Topside Deep Clean project (GHLN 25-0347) involving 15 Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs). The memorandum addresses four key pre-bid questions from potential contractors, including details about the facility's cleaning history, documentation requirements, and scope of cleaning accessories.
Key details include that the last major facility remodel was in 2006, and this is the first comprehensive cleaning project constructed for these facilities. Contractors interested in bidding must complete Attachment 2 MFR CUI Receipt and have a NIST SP 800-171 Assessment score in the SPRS module of PIEE. The cleaning scope encompasses extensive accessory cleaning, including doorknobs, vents, partitions, faucet handles, urinal handles, toilet handles, shower handles, dispensers, and other items needing attention. Accompanying photos provide visual documentation of the current facility conditions to support the bidding process.

DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE
90TH MISSILE WING (AFGSC)
29 Aug 25
MEMORANDUM FOR 90 CES/CEM
FROM: 90 CONS/PKAB
SUBJECT: Pre-Bid Questions for GHLN 25-0347; Topside Deep Clean 15 MAFs
Q1: When was the last time the requested areas had a deep clean and grout cleaning?
A1: In 2006 a remodel was completed. General cleaning, rather than deep cleaning, is a daily routine for personnel living at the MAFs. This is the first time a cleaning project has been constructed.
Q2: Can you provide the square foot of each location and a breakdown of the square foot of rooms at east location? For example, the square foot in the kitchen and bathroom would cost more than other room types.
A2: This information is provided in Atch 2 MAF Map with Layout (CUI). A vendor interested must fill out Atch 2 MFR CUI Receipt and have a NIST SP 800-171 Assessment score completed in the SPRS module of PIEE.
Q3: What is the difference between “Accessories: Bathroom/Kitchen” and “Accessories:
Fixtures (faucet, sink, urinal, etc.)” when the accessories in the bathroom should be the same in both lines?
A3: Bathroom/Kitchen Accessories to include doorknobs, vents lower on the wall, partitions, faucet handles, urinal handles, toil handles, shower handles, paper towel dispensers, toiletry dispensers, blow-dry handles, any other item in need of attention.
Q4: Could you provide pictures of the current conditions?
A4: Each MAF is going to be in various conditions. MAF bathrooms and general wall photos are provided.
