Q: USAMS II information. To level the playing field and to help companies decide on teaming and investments, will the 55 CONS release more information via FBO to the bidder’s library on what has happened under USAMS II? Offerors need to know which task orders have been insourced, which task orders may have been cancelled early or reduced in scope, and which task orders are expected for recompete under USAMS III, beyond the limited list of task orders announced for recompete under “USAMS 2.5.” With the insourcing that has occurred, it is difficult for any one company to compile a complete picture of how USAMS III will be structured. Offerors know the ceiling has been severely cut, but offerors need more detail to make mature, healthy teaming decisions and business investment of potential bid and proposal funding requirements for USAMS III. Can the 55
CONS release this level of detail data similar to how the 21 CONS released data regarding
TA2S?
A: A list of USAMS II task orders is posted on FBO, we will update the list to identify active task orders. Budget changes will drive reduced requirements, but, it is anticipated that the majority of active task orders will be recompeted under USAMS III at some level of performance prior to September 2015.
