1 In the RFP it call for a design team. Is there any design work to be included for the Essex house?

14 April 14 NO

2 Is there an area to locate dumpster(s) at the site?

14 April 14 Yes, site to be determined

3 Are there any specific equipment limitations because of access or load limitations?

14 April 14 No, however, if the contractor were to damage any roads, pavement or grassy areas, it is the responsibility of the contractor to repair at their cost

4 On page 3 of 4 in the SOW item "L" it states that we are to remove all brick pavers, clean the joints and install new brick pavers. At the pre‐bid conference Mr. Hopkins stated that we were to only remove and replace the cracked pavers. What statement is correct?

14 April 14 All pavers shall be removed, discarded of peroperly and install all new pavers

5 On page 3 of 4 in the SOW item "M" It states the contractor shall hand grade the existing grassy areas along the patio borders and within the patio area that are thinning. Our question is that at the pre‐bid conference it was stated that there is addittional landscapping to be completed. What is this addittional landscapping?

14 April 14 As stated in the SOW, the contractor shall install SOD over bare spots. It is the governments intention to have the mulched area replaced with sod. Where the trees are located within the concrete areas, landscape timber shall be installed to contain the mulch and protect the tree roots.

6 During the Pre‐proposal conference it was mentioned a 25 year warranty was required for the new roof on the Essex House. I did not see that requirement in the SOW. Is that a requirement?

14 April 14 The roof shall include a 20 year material and a 5 year installer warranty

7 I do not believe you will get the 25 year roofing warranty based on the flashing heights of the doors...pls advise.

8 what is the diameter of the roof drains?

9 are the scuppers to be re used?

10 pls provide a landscape drawing of the landscaping and brick paver work ect on the exterior.

11 pls provide scope of work to repair exterior cornice. We cannot determine extent of work from visualizing from the balcony and first floor.

17 What areas specifically get sod? SOW states along the patio and borders but that whole area is mulched? Do we need to remove the mulch and install sod around the whole patio?

21 In reference to the SOW item 3q. Does "all bare areas" mean all the mulched areas around the patio and borders? Can you please be more specific on what areas you want sodded?

22 What areas of sidewalk are included in the crack sealing scope, all sidewalk around the building or just by the back patio?

24 Will the government require design submittals if the simple project is awarded? If so will government require a 35%, 65%, 95% and 100% design submittals?
