About this file

This is an addendum to a federal construction contract for pressure washing and painting services at Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex. The addendum modifies three key specifications in the original bid/contract documents and must be acknowledged by bidders to avoid disqualification.

Paragraph 1.6 expands the scope of work to require the service provider to furnish all necessary equipment, materials, labor, and transportation to repair, pressure wash, and paint the exterior of Building 1017, including all stairs/ramps, railings, exterior doors, retaining walls, and EFIS banisters connected to the building. Paragraph 1.7 adds 50 light poles in the clock tower area to the scope, along with all planters and retaining walls in that area. The scheduling requirement in Paragraph 3.1 has been extended from 180 calendar days to 225 calendar days for project completion. The contractor must submit an initial work schedule before commencing on-site work and is responsible for establishing a schedule that meets the construction timeline. This addendum takes precedence over any conflicting conditions in the specifications, drawings, and related architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings.
