About this file
This is a Draft Signature Document (Exhibit C) for a state contract opportunity in Texas. The document serves as a template for the formal execution and authorization of the contract agreement between the state and the selected vendor or contractor. The signature document establishes the framework for binding both parties to the terms and conditions outlined in the associated contract solicitation and bid response. The document includes designated signature blocks for authorized representatives from both the state agency and the contracting entity, along with spaces for dates of execution and official titles of signatories. The structure of the signature document provides for the acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms, conditions, specifications, and deliverables as detailed in the primary contract documentation.
The signature document functions as the final contractual instrument that formalizes the agreement once both parties have completed their respective approval and authorization processes. This exhibit typically includes representations and certifications from the vendor regarding compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, minority business participation commitments if applicable, and acknowledgment of receipt and understanding of all contract documents and exhibits. The execution of this document marks the official commencement of the contractual relationship and obligates both parties to perform their respective duties as outlined in the solicitation documents and accepted bid proposal.
