About this file

This document is an attachment to a state and local contract opportunity solicited by the Texas Military Department (TMD), Texas Air National Guard (ANG) 147th Attack Wing for the repair of existing radio frequency (RF) cable at the 35 localizer at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. The project involves manually trenching and removing previously damaged RF heliax cable, and replacing it with 150 linear feet of new cable and conduits at Building 1452. The contract requires the successful contractor to provide trained personnel to coordinate and expedite training, attend training coordination meetings, and provide detailed classroom and hands-on training to Ellington Field personnel on the operation and maintenance of the specified equipment. The contract does not specify a contract term or renewal options.

The contract opportunity does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient commercial information. However, it does require the contractor to submit various submittals, including a training schedule, preliminary and final training plans, training materials, and manufacturer's certificates of proper installation.
