About this file
This document is a Communications Requirements Matrix for the Preliminary/Contract Design of Motor Vessel Ranger IV, prepared by Loch Harbour Group for Contract No. 6913G623P800007. The matrix details both exterior and interior communication systems for the vessel, including comprehensive specifications for various communication equipment. Key exterior communication systems include multiple VHF radiotelephones, Inmarsat C systems, MF radio systems, cellular antennas, an aircraft transceiver, Iridium system, EPIRB, and other maritime communication technologies. The interior communication systems encompass sound power telephone systems, dial telephone systems, public address systems, fire alarm systems, and a Bridge Navigational Watch and Alarm System, with most equipment powered by 24VDC or 120VAC and designed to meet 46 CFR Subpart requirements.
