About this file
This is a Cost Reimbursable Narrative document supporting a Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) contract opportunity. The document outlines the cost structure and reimbursement methodology for the WOLF EPF (Warfare Operational Logistics Framework Electronic Project File) Request for Offer (RFO) solicitation N0042126R1024, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command. The narrative details how costs will be calculated, tracked, and reimbursed under a cost-reimbursable contract type, establishing the financial framework for contractor submissions. This document serves as supporting guidance for offerors preparing responses to the RFO, which has a submission deadline of 2:00 PM EDT on August 24, 2026.
The cost reimbursable structure allows for flexibility in resource allocation while maintaining accountability through detailed cost documentation and reimbursement procedures. Contractors responding to this opportunity must align their pricing proposals with the cost reimbursement methodology outlined in this narrative, ensuring compliance with the defined cost categories, allowable expenses, and documentation requirements. This approach is typically used for efforts where the scope or resource requirements cannot be fully predetermined, requiring a cost-plus or cost-reimbursable arrangement to accommodate evolving project needs.
