About this file
The document is a Buy American Certificate (Standard Form 52.225-2, dated October 2022) that requires vendors to certify the origin and domestic content of end products offered in a federal procurement. The form mandates that vendors identify and classify their end products as either domestic or foreign, with specific requirements for reporting the country of origin and domestic content percentage. For foreign end products not consisting wholly of iron or steel, vendors must indicate whether the products exceed 55% domestic content, with an option to select "no" if the domestic content percentage is unknown. The form includes sections for listing foreign end products, domestic end products, and those containing critical components, with the understanding that the government will evaluate offers according to Part 25 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
