About this file
This document is an attachment containing BUILDER data capture requirements and specifications for contractor obligations related to equipment inventory documentation and tracking on a federal construction project.
The contractor is required to comprehensively document all removed and installed systems, components, and equipment within a BUILDER catalog spreadsheet, capturing salient information including make, model, serial numbers, capacities, voltage, CFM, RPM, and linear/square footage measurements. The contractor must physically tag all newly installed fire panels, mechanical, and HVAC systems with laminated paper or metal-stamped labels displaying item name, make, model, serial number, and installation date, securing tags with wire or zip ties and ensuring readability from a reasonable distance. Additionally, the contractor must organize items by category as specified in the BUILDER spreadsheet (such as doors, windows, and lighting fixtures), clearly identify all item locations within the building structure (floor, room, wing), and photograph all systems, components, and equipment designated in the BUILDER Catalog Spreadsheet as requiring inventory photos, with images capturing both data plates and overall equipment views. The document references the BUILDER Inventory and Assessment Guide for additional detailed information and was issued by Eric Chun on January 26.

This includes both what’s identified currently within BUILDER and what was not previously captured.
· Contractor to list all Installed Systems, Components and Equipment including all salient information such as make, model, serial number(s), capacities, voltage, CFM, RPM, etc. Data to be input within the Installed Equipment tab of the BUILDER catalog spreadsheet.
· Contractor will physically tag all newly installed fire panels, mechanical and HVAC Systems, Components, Equipment as applicable. Tagging will state Item name, make, model, serial number and Installation date.
