About this file

This document is the Scope of Work (SOW) for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work for the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Plains Area.

The SOW outlines the general requirements for the contract, including the location of work, applicable codes and standards, material quality, drawing requirements, cleanup and disposal procedures, and safety requirements. It also specifies submittal requirements such as lists of materials, installation instructions, as-built drawings, receipts, and safety plans. Key details include: the contract covers work in the ARS Plains Area across several states; work must comply with industry standards like NFPA, ASPE, and ASHRAE; the contractor is responsible for proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste; and the contractor must submit an Accident Prevention Plan and Site-Specific Safety Plan. The SOW does not provide detailed technical specifications, but rather establishes the general parameters for the MEP work to be performed under this MATOC contract.
