About this file

This is a Buy American Certificate form required under FAR 52.225-2 for the Air Force Academy's solicitation FA700026Q0062 for a Hybrid Upright/Inverted Fluorescence Microscope. The certificate serves as a solicitation provision that obligates offerors to certify the domestic or foreign origin of end products being supplied.

Under this provision, offerors must certify that each end product is a domestic end product unless otherwise listed. For any foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, with the exception of commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. Offerors are required to separately identify line item numbers of domestic end products containing critical components and list all foreign end products by line item number and country of origin. The Government will evaluate offers in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies and procedures. The form includes signature blocks for the company authorized representative to execute the certificate with printed name, title, and date.
