About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal construction project at Whiteman Air Force Base.
The project (1157746) involves repair of the Distinguished Visitor Transient Ramp airfield pavement at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. The ramp has experienced concrete spalling due to severe weather, heavy loads, and age-related deterioration. The contractor must remove degraded concrete areas to a depth of 5 inches with perpendicular edge cuts, thoroughly clean and prepare the surface with government inspection approval, cast new concrete using ready-mix materials adhering to project specifications and approved submittals, seal all construction joints per specifications, restore airfield striping to match original layout and dimensions, and conduct final site cleanup. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, temporary barriers, and equipment to complete the work. Work must be coordinated with 509 CONS, 509 CES, and 509 OSS, and a detailed work schedule including work sequences must be submitted to the government. Pre-construction submittals include project plan, schedule, and schedule of submittals. Product submittals must include concrete mix design and testing/analysis results per IDIQ SOW Maintenance and Repair of Airfield Pavements. Other submittals include material and workmanship warranties. Attachments include a site map showing the ramp location west of Taxilane Foxtrot and east of Flight Line RD, and a detailed aerial image showing the specific panels under work outlined in blue.
