About this file
This document contains a federal contract solicitation and related technical appendix. The solicitation calls for establishing a redundant electrical power system and HVAC infrastructure at an Air Force facility to support ground control station operations. Contractors are requested to upgrade the facility's electrical transformer and distribution, replace two water-cooled chillers with air-cooled models, and install dedicated HVAC systems for ground control station bays to create fully redundant utilities. The period of performance is 570 calendar days with a total estimated value between $5-10 million. Responses will be evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable procedures. This opportunity is a 100% small business set-aside. The technical appendix provides specifications for labeling telecommunications infrastructure components according to established standards.
