About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for a Facility Move Project involving the relocation of networking infrastructure from floor one to floor two. The project encompasses comprehensive cabling and installation services, with the vendor responsible for providing labor and materials while City staff will handle all hardware and software configuration. The scope includes furnishing and installing 258 dual Category 6 blue outlets, 17 dual CAT6A access points, 10 single cameras with white Category 6 cable, and terminating all cables on specified patch panels. Additional deliverables include three four-post racks (QuadraRack 15053-703 model), 200 cage nuts, six vertical cable managers (Chatsworth 32620-701), four horizontal cable managers (Motive 35432-702), 12-inch ladder rack with proper grounding, and six APC AP7901B PDUs (two per rack). The vendor must also furnish specific patch cords in multiple configurations: 286 cat6 10-foot black, 95 cat6 blue 3-foot, 95 cat6 5-foot, 96 cat6 7-foot, 24 CAT6A 3-foot, and 24 CAT6A 7-foot patch cords per city standards. Additional work includes removing and reinstalling three Cisco 48-port switches (144 total ports), installing twelve cameras (to be provided by NSD), and installing ten access points (to be provided by NSD).

All cabling materials must be CommScope Systimax Category 6 blue 2071 for workstations and CommScope Systimax 2091 blue for wireless access point locations. Cable installation must occur in drop ceilings with proper support using STIFFY ROD hangers and J-hooks, with the vendor responsible only for fire caulking penetrations while others provide fire stop materials. The project assumes three 4-inch conduit penetrations into the IDF room and requires a 25-pair Cat5e cable run of 150 feet from the MPOE to the new rack row, terminated on 24-port patch panels. Rack and stack services must include a detailed spreadsheet documenting each patch cable and port location. The document references supporting attachments including WAP Location Drawings, Camera Location Drawings, and Data Drops Drawings. A detailed equipment rack layout is provided specifying the placement of fiber spaces, cable managers, patch panels, switches, PDUs, and UPS units across 45 rack units.
