About this file

This document is Addendum 2 for Request for Proposal (RFP) 25-41 issued by the University of Southern Mississippi, dated 31 March 2025. The addendum provides clarification for prospective bidders, specifically addressing a question about compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The university confirms that vendors who cannot fully meet all requirements are still eligible to submit a proposal, particularly regarding the ISO/IEC 40500:2012 accessibility standard. Specifically, vendors currently meeting WCAG 2.0 AA and working towards 2.1 can submit a response, with the evaluation depending on the details provided in their bid.

The addendum is signed by Amber Floyd from the Procurement and Contract Services department and represents a standard procedural document in the bidding process that provides additional guidance to potential vendors. The response allows for some flexibility in meeting technical standards, suggesting the university is interested in understanding vendors' capabilities and progression towards full compliance, rather than implementing a strictly binary acceptance criteria.
