About this file
This is a specification document for a compressed air compressor system installation required by an unnamed county government. The project involves the procurement and installation of a single compressor system unit that must be delivered and installed by August 17, 2026. The vendor is responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, rigging, and materials necessary to set, assemble, level, anchor, and connect the compressor at the designated location, including mechanical assembly of disassembled components, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connection, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The scope also includes factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documented commissioning data submitted within five business days, minimum two-hour on-site operator and maintenance training, and delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with F.O.B. destination terms. A critical requirement mandates that all components must pass through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural building modifications. The vendor must coordinate delivery access with the county not less than five business days in advance of the scheduled delivery date and provide certified weight data at least ten business days before delivery.
The pricing structure is all-inclusive, covering the system, installation, training, and warranty costs in a single line item cost. Warranty coverage includes 24 months for the compressor pump and 12 months parts and labor for the entire system, both commencing from the date of acceptance. An optional extended warranty coverage for years 1-5 is available at an additional annual rate. The county will furnish electrical rough-in work (conduit, disconnect switch, and branch circuit wiring), compressed air distribution piping beyond the outlet connection point, and a level reinforced concrete or structural floor adequate for the unit weight prior to the scheduled installation date. The vendor is responsible for all required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates at vendor expense. The document does not specify an incumbent provider, contract term beyond installation, or renewal options.
