About this file

This is a Payment Bond document for the Thunder Junction Park Phase 2 project (Inquiry No. 26-299) issued by the City of St. George, Utah. The payment bond serves as a guarantee that the principal contractor will promptly pay all subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers involved in the construction of the park located at 1851 South Dixie Drive in Tonaquint Park. The bond obligates the contractor and surety to ensure payment for all materials, labor, equipment, repairs, insurance premiums, and other costs associated with project execution. The bond document includes standard provisions requiring the surety company to be listed on the Treasury Department's current Circular 570 and authorized to conduct business in Utah, with no changes, extensions, or modifications to the contract terms affecting the bond's validity.

The payment bond amount and specific contract date are to be filled in by the parties upon execution. As specified in the related contract opportunity, 100% payment and performance bonds are required for this project, with the surety company responsible for ensuring all project obligations are met regardless of any contract modifications or extensions. The bond protects the City of St. George and all beneficiaries performing work or supplying materials, with claims remaining valid even after final settlement between the city and contractor. The document requires execution by authorized representatives of both the principal and surety, with attestation and proper sealing.
