Spin Eject Mechanism
SOW/SPEC/DILS
N/A N/A Spin Eject Mechanism Requirements Documents Is the Government amendable to evaluating a proposed schedule that would extend beyond the stated 24 months and include a technical solution that mitigates risks?
The Spin Eject Mechanism is part of a tightly-coupled project that is part of a planetary mission, so any deviations in requirements must be carefully considered. The Government acknowledges the challenging schedule requirements of the RFP and encourages potential offerors to submit a proposal that provides an optimal balance of technical and programmatic risks, which are unlikely to be completely eliminated in any scenario. For additional information about proposing a schedule that goes beyond the requirement date please see the Government’s response to question 3 in the preproposal conference Q&A document posted to SAM.gov under solicitation 80GSFC21R0039.
