About this file
This is a summary of a solicitation notice for Solicitation 75H701-23-R-00048 Peach Springs Sprinkler System, HVAC, and Communication Cabling project. The scope of work is for a contractor to replace an existing failed dry-pipe sprinkler system with a new wet-pipe sprinkler system, replace HVAC units beyond their useful lives, and replace outdated communication cabling with current technology at the Peach Springs Health Center in Peach Springs, Arizona. The period of performance is 365 calendar days from notice to proceed. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. A site visit will be detailed in the solicitation. A single firm fixed price contract will be awarded using lowest price technically acceptable evaluation criteria in accordance with FAR Part 36 procedures. Registration in SAM is required to be considered for award. The solicitation will be posted on the website for download, with no hard copies available.

Amendment A00002 dated 06/06/2023
23. The proposed location of the dental swing space is South of the existing trailers. There is not enough elevation difference to facilitate drainage into the existing sewer manhole. We propose setting the dental swing space to the East of the designated area so that the facility can sit at a higher elevation. A concrete walkway can be added between the trailer and the asphalted surface. Is this acceptable?
Groh The IHS lease ends at the pavement. We cannot move the building east, off the IHS leased land.
24. What are the amperage requirements for the dental equipment?
Groh The relevant pages from the equipment installation guides are provided in Attachment J01jk – Dental Equipment Electrical Requirements.

Notes:
1. Use 18 Gauge, 4 conductor, interconnect cable between the
AirStar unit and Remote Switch Panel.
When any 24V circuit exceeds 150 feet, use #16 AWG.
2. As shown, 3 conductors of the 24V circuit cable from each compressor connect via the user-supplied interconnect cable.
3. The fourth conductor of interconnect cable to be used for future equipment options/enhancements.
4. Leave with factory connection, without a 24V Switch, or connect the associated interconnect cable directly to remote switch.
Please note that one switch is used for each compressor.
