About this file
This document contains an amendment to the solicitation for the USCGC VIGOROUS FY20 DRY DOCK opportunity. The amendment provides clarification regarding work items for inspection and removal of rudders. Specifically, work item 030 covers inspection of rudders, but there is no separate work item for removal of rudders. Work item 023 calls for removal of only the port propeller shaft for repairs. According to the answer provided, the shafts can be removed without detaching the rudders by first removing the propeller blades and hubs, as there is sufficient clearance. The solicitation is for dry dock services for the USCGC VIGOROUS conducted by the Department of Homeland Security Coast Guard.
