Questions and Response Set #3 MIA Precast Panel Repair
697DCK-22-R-00172
Question 1: Section 01 50 00 paragraph 3.4.D of the specifications calls for temporary fire protection. Is this for within the tower if we were to have to disable any permanent fire protection, or is it calling for temporary fire protection in the temporary FAA Field Rep's Office?
Answer 1: This specification section is if we needed to disable any of the permanent fire protection/detection in the tower facility.
Question 2: Regarding the temporary FAA Field Rep's Office specified in section 01 50 10 of the specifications: will this structure require helical piles and strapping to meet Miami-Dade hurricane requirements for temporary structures?
Answer 2: After verifying with the facility, a FAA Field Representatives Office will not be a requirement on this job. The FAA Field representative will utilize a space within the facility as an office.
