About this file
This file is a Buy American Certificate form (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022 version) that serves as a compliance document for federal procurement contracts subject to Buy American Act requirements.
The certificate requires offerors to certify that all end products are domestic products, except those specifically identified as foreign end products in the submission. Offerors must list any foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic products, and for non-iron/steel foreign products, indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content (with the exception of commercially available off-the-shelf items). Additionally, offerors must separately identify line item numbers for any domestic end products containing critical components as defined in the solicitation's Buy American-Supplies clause. The Government will evaluate all offers in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 25 policies and procedures. This certificate is applicable to the Department of Veterans Affairs' solicitation for Surgical Instruments (Solicitation No. 36C25926Q0616) for the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, with a response deadline of July 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time.
