About this file

This document outlines details for a design-build construction project solicitation for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Back on Campus Phase III project. The solicitation will use a two-phase proposal process to select an offeror for elevator upgrades and third floor office renovations at the CMS headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. Phase I proposals will be due January 8th, 2024 and should include experience, past performance, and design-build approach information. Three highly qualified offerors will be shortlisted to submit Phase II technical proposals and pricing by June 2024, which will be evaluated along with a management plan and proof of concept. The project is to be delivered using an occupied and secured building approach with elevator and office phasing required to maintain operations. The General Services Administration is the contracting agency, and work is expected to be completed between October 2024 and March 2027.
