About this file
This is Amendment No. 4 to a Request for Lease Proposals (RLP) No. 3CA1541 for office space in Sacramento/Rancho Cordova, CA, for two federal agencies: NOAA (Block A) and USBR (Block B). The amendment specifies detailed space requirements, including minimum square footage, ceiling heights, and specialized areas for each block. Key requirements include no railyard within 1 mile, meeting government security standards, specific floor loading capacities, communication tower and satellite dish locations, and provisions for vehicle storage, equipment areas, and generator pads.
The amendment modifies sections on unique requirements and ceiling specifications, detailing precise measurements for different space types. For Block A (NOAA), this includes 16,442 SF of space with specific ceiling heights for operation rooms and technical areas, plus additional secured outdoor spaces for satellite dishes, communication towers, and vehicle storage. Block B (USBR) requires 4,050 SF on the ground floor for high-density library items and vehicles, with varying ceiling heights and floor load capacities. The lease also mandates specific infrastructure elements like freight elevators, column spacing, multiple vehicular access points, and considerations for 24/7 operations without disrupting neighboring properties.
