About this file
This file contains Questions and Answers (Round 1) for solicitation 36C77626Q0215, which addresses the Commissioning and Activation (IOT&A) of two Veterans Affairs outpatient clinics located in Burlington, Vermont and Cheshire County (Keene and Brattleboro), Vermont. The document provides clarifications on key project parameters and contractor responsibilities.
The Q&A reveals that both clinic projects are currently in the pre-award, conceptual design phase with no final addresses yet available for the new Cheshire County facility. Staff from Brattleboro, Keene, and Burlington Lakeside clinics will transition to the new facilities, though the exact timing of Building Occupancy Date (BOD) and first patient day activation for each clinic remains undetermined. Construction may be executed by either a single contractor or multiple contractors with separate Architect-Engineers. The VA retains responsibility for conducting inventory and transportation of reusable equipment and furniture being retained, while the contractor will not handle disposition of equipment not being relocated. Notably, the number of reusable items requiring warehousing and relocation has not been quantified, and the construction status of both facilities remains unclear pending further design development.
