This will allow the most competitive price to be offered at this time.

11 As a result of the effect of COVID-19 throughout the U.S., and the resulting Federal, State and local governments’ responses / requirements of safe distancing and potential advocations of working remotely and/or complete organization closures, please advise how the Government intends to address delays resulting there as it pertains to the current solicitation schedule for this and all future projects
This project cannot dictate how future projects will operate.
12 Since this solicitation involves multiple buildings, floors, rooms, campus wide, please consider allowing more time the provide a bid proposal. Also note there are two federal holidays in the midst of this solicitation period.

13 Drawing GS002 Demolition note 9. If hazardous materials are believed to be present, contractor is to remove and dispose. Are there known hazardous materials onsite? We assume that the note is to be interpred as: if hazardous materials are found, contractor is to notify the government.
Any costs for removal and disposal will be approved by the government per unforseen conditions contract clauses.

14 Drawing GS002 Demolition note 11. If un-capped water wells are discovered on site, contractor is coordinate with authorized company to have wells plugged and capped. Are there known un-capped water wells onsite? We assume that the note is to be interpred as: if un-capped water wells are found, contractor is to notify the government. Any costs for removal and disposal will be approved by the government per unforseen conditions contract clauses.

15 Drawing GS002 Demolition note 12. If existing septic systems are discovered on site, contractor shall coordinate with a septic hauler to pump any remaining wastewater and sludge from all tanks in system, remove the tanks, and the lateral fields.
Are there known existing septic systems onsite?
We assume that the note is to be interpred as: if existing septic sytems are found, contractor is to notify the government. Any costs for removal and disposal will be approved by the government per unforseen conditions contract clauses.

16 There references to Bid Alternates on the drawings but not shown on the solicitation price schedule.
We assume we are to ignore references to bid alternates on the bid documents unless directed by admendment.
There are no bid alternatives or deducts, price without regard to language involving deducts.
17 Is it permissible to use a conventional releasing panel for releasing the Novec1230 system in the main server room 057 and monitor this panel with three new Simplex addressable monitor modules connected to the building fire alarm system for alarm, trouble, and supervisory?
Yes, this is acceptable. Provided that the RSFACU can monitor the required number of inputs as identified on the contract documents.
18 Will there be a new raised floor in the main server room 057, if so what will be the depth?
No raised floor system for this server room due to limitations on room size and equipment clearances
19 What will be the new ceiling height (deck height if exposed) in main server room 057?
Existing Height is 8’-9” to accounstical tile, new ceiling height (exposed) was not shown in drawings but is roughly 10’-0”. Measurements can be taken on site during walk thru
20 Several electrical and datacom contractor / vendors are requesting more time to prepare pricing noting that there are challenges with obtaining pricing due to supply chain shortages and vendor supplier manpower.

Detail 6 on sheet M-501 shows a pipe support that is connected to the roof deck and flashed
in. In lieu of this particular pipe support, would a Miro or Durablock pipe support be considered? I have attached cut sheets of each for your review. These would eliminate the need to add additional roof penetrations.
As long as they comply with specification section

What is the duration that you will require cooling for the temporary cooling?
Duration is to be determined through coordination by the general contractor and telecommunications subcontractor.
What power is available in this room? We can do 208v or 480v. The room has 208v
What is the route / door accommodations for the temporary unit? The proposed unit is 86”
Long X 34” Wide X 78” Tall.
Provide a temporary unit or multiple units which fit within the existing door(s).
For both hardware sets there is a continuous hinge with a TW8 option which is a “Through
Wire – 8 count” wired through the hinge to power the door and there is an EPT10 which is an “electric power transfer – 10 count” listed to power the door. Is the door supposed to be powered through the hinge or the EPT? Please clarify.
Lockset is low voltage and shall be electrified from junction bosx for EPT10. Refer to detail 3/TY-101.
