About this file
This document includes a pre-solicitation notice and project plans for renovating a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) in Rome, New York.
The pre-solicitation notice describes plans to renovate approximately 25,000 gross square feet of existing unused second floor space at the Rome CBOC to create a new primary care clinic following Patient Aligned Care Team guidelines. The renovation will include abatement of asbestos and hazardous materials, demolition of existing walls, electrical, lighting, ceilings, floors, mechanical equipment, ductwork and piping, and plumbing. The new clinic space will house examination rooms, women's health services, clinical video telehealth rooms, procedure room suites, and required healthcare and administrative support areas. The project cost is estimated between $5 million to $10 million. The VA will issue an invitation for bid on or around July 22, 2021 via beta.sam.gov.
The project plans drawing shows electrical system details for the Rome CBOC renovation and was created by Miller-Remick LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, for the VA.
