About this file
This is a Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) permit withdrawal letter issued to Hillsborough County Community Planning and Development regarding environmental permitting for the CR 584 (Waters Ave) at Florida Mining Boulevard Intersection Improvements project. The document, dated March 7, 2022, confirms that Hillsborough County's permit application (No. 841936) for the intersection improvements project in sections 20, 19, 30, and 29 of Township 28 South, Range 18 East has been withdrawn effective March 7, 2022. The withdrawal was processed in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Rule 62-330.071(3).
Under the applicable regulatory provisions, any processing fees submitted with the withdrawn permit application may be credited toward processing fees for a new application or notice submitted by the same applicant within 365 days from the withdrawal date, provided that the activity is located within all or part of the same project area. This provision allows Hillsborough County to reapply for environmental permits for the intersection improvements project without incurring duplicate processing fees, facilitating the planned installation of new traffic signal infrastructure with mast arm structures estimated at approximately $2.58 million.
