About this file
This document is a comprehensive access and security guidelines document for Schriever Space Force Base (SFB) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It provides detailed procedures for base access, vehicle entry, and restricted area (RA) access for non-Department of Defense affiliated personnel, with specific protocols for different access durations and vehicle types. The document outlines three primary access methods: escorted access (1-5 days), unescorted access for short-term visits (1-59 days), and unescorted access for longer-term assignments (60+ days), each requiring specific documentation, background checks, and identification processes.
The document also includes a detailed "Deniable Offenses Matrix" that comprehensively lists criminal offenses and their potential impact on base access, ranging from terrorism and espionage to drug offenses and sexual crimes. The matrix provides guidance on access denial periods based on offense type, severity, and time since conviction, with some offenses resulting in indefinite denial. Additional access restrictions include requirements for non-U.S. citizens to provide specific documentation, considerations for individual criminal history, and potential denial based on factors such as alcohol/narcotic abuse, fraudulent statements, or inappropriate use of access credentials.
