About this file

This is a Bid Schedule document for the Pump Station 92 Replacement project (IFB 044-26-RM) issued by the City of Tallahassee, Florida. The project consists of constructing a new quadruplex submersible pump station to replace the existing Pump Station 92 located at 6636 Buck Lake Rd, with the new facility constructed adjacent to the existing station on City-owned property. The scope of work encompasses deep foundation installation (micropiles), site grading and clearing, stormwater retention area construction with energy dissipator, utility relocation and installation (water and sewer services), gravity and force main sanitary sewer piping with associated manholes, electrical service and generator installation, landscaping, fencing replacement, driveway demolition and replacement, shade structure construction, and demolition and decommissioning of the existing pump station. The bid schedule includes over 100 individual pay items spanning general contract work, miscellaneous surface restoration, landscaping, demolition, water services, sewer infrastructure, electrical systems, and geotechnical work, with quantities ranging from single items (such as 1 lump sum for mobilization) to larger quantities (such as 2,143 square yards for site grading and 220 shrubs for landscaping). A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST on Microsoft Teams, with the bid due date of April 9, 2026.

The bid schedule requires contractors to submit unit prices for each pay item, with the total base bid calculated by multiplying quantities by unit prices. The document includes 20 detailed footnotes that specify scope inclusions for complex pay items such as micropile installation (including design, QC testing, and static load testing), sewer bypass structure installation, wet well decommissioning, and equipment relocations. Bidders must account for all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete each work item as outlined in the Technical Specifications and Contract Documents. The contract will require the contractor to maintain existing pump station operations during new construction and to deliver a complete, operable system upon completion, including the production of as-built and record drawings.
