About this file
These documents are COVID-19 guidelines for the Hines VA Hospital campus, detailing protocols for controlling coronavirus spread across all hospital buildings and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The guidelines specify four key requirements: (1) mandatory mask/face covering usage, (2) contractors must have PIV cards, (3) campus-wide door closures at 4:30 PM with restricted entry points, and (4) mandatory daily COVID screening at four specific entry points (main lobby of Building 200, Atrium near Building 45, C-Section east entrance to Building 1, and main lobby of Building 217). Upon screening, individuals receive a dated sticker to place on their PIV card, which allows re-entry without additional screening. The document emphasizes strict enforcement, including potential immediate removal for propping open doors or allowing unscreened individuals to enter the facility.
