About this file
These are pre-proposal conference slides for a National Park Service project to replace an obsolete housing unit with a multiplex unit. The project (DETO 228872) involves constructing a one-story 6-plex building based on NPS Prototype building number three, which will include six one-bedroom units, a laundry unit, a modular community area, two RV spaces, and an outdoor gathering area. The existing 6-plex will be demolished.
The procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 236116, with a 410-calendar day performance period. The solicitation will use a Best Value/Tradeoff source selection method, with evaluation factors including project experience, technical approach, schedule, key personnel, and past performance. Proposals must be submitted electronically, with a 10-page maximum technical approach and 4-page maximum schedule narrative. A bid bond is required, and proposals will be evaluated considering both price and non-price factors, with the government reserving the right to award without discussions.
