Sample the materials prior to planned work that may impact the materials.
Please f ind attached Chain of Custody and report of the lab analysis by layers. The COC also indicates where the samples were collected. The photo report is attached showing the sampled materials, locations, and other f ield observations. A sketch is a lso included to show the relative locations of the sampled materials and to assist with room name identification.
Comments:
M2 Painted wall board was sampled, analyzed, and found to conta in a non-detectable amount of asbestos.
M3 Drywall, Tape, and joint compound: The drywall on the cei lings and walls was in good condition. Samples were collected in the few areas exhibiting joint damage that may need to be repaired in the future , or where it was evident that two samples could be collected at a joint, to minimize the damage.
These samples were analyzed and found to contain a non-detectable amount of asbestos .
M6: The cei ling tiles (12”) and ce iling panels (2 ’ x 4’): Ceil ing tiles and panels are considered suspect materia ls. The sampled materials were analyzed and found to have a non-detectable amount of asbestos.
F1: Seamless flooring: Only the older seamless flooring (Yellow) in the Men’s room and the bathroom adjoining the bedroom was sampled. The seamless flooring in the woman ’s room appeared to be new and not likely to be impacted. It wasn’t sampled per clients request.
The yellow seamless flooring had 15% Chrysotile asbestos. It is non-friable and non-regulated in its present condition. Lenape Consulting recommends removal or repairs be made by a licensed and accredited asbestos abatement contractor.
F5 Mastic: The mastic used to glue 12” cei ling ti les was sampled, analyzed, and found to contain a non-detectable amount of asbestos.
T2 Mudded fittings (A) and foil faced f iberglass insulation (B): The potable water system insulation was sampled, analyzed, and found to contain a non-detectable amount of asbestos.
Assumed to contain asbestos: There were other suspect materia ls in the mess hall that were not tested. These materials are assumed to conta in asbestos, unti l sampled and analyzed. (PACM) If work on these materia ls is planned, they need to be sampled prior to the work.
The opinions presented herein apply to the s ite conditions existing at the time of our investigations and only those materials that were accessible. Therefore, our opinions and recommendations may not apply to future conditions that may exist at the site which we have not had the opportunity to evaluate.

All samples were received in acceptable condition unless noted in the Report Comments portion in the body of the report. The results relate only to the samples as received and tested. The results include an inherent uncertainty of measurement associated with estimating percentages by polarized light microscopy. Measurement uncertainty data for sample results with >1% asbestos concentration can be provided when requested.

The test report shall not be reproduced except in full, without written approval of the laboratory. The report must not be used by the client to claim product certification, approval, or endorsement by any agency of the federal government. The Company reserves the right to dispose of all samples after a period of thirty (30) days, according to all state and federal guidelines, unless otherwise specified.
Inhomogeneous samples are separated into homogeneous subsamples and analyzed individually. ND means no fibers were detected. When detected, the minimum detection and reporting limit is less than 1% unless point counting is performed. Floor tile samples may contain large amounts of interference material and it is recommended that the sample be analyzed by gravimetric point count analysis to lower the detection limit and to aid in asbestos identification.
