About this file
This is an organizational chart attachment requirement document issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement for a design-build service contract to renovate Buildings A and C at the Detroit Police Department facility located at 1180 Oakman Boulevard in Michigan. Respondents to the RFP must submit organizational charts in portable document format (.pdf) for the specific office or unit that will provide services under the contract. If a vendor operates multiple locations across regions or states, only the organizational chart for the office(s) providing services need be submitted. The chart must clearly identify any vacant or unstaffed positions within the proposed service structure.
Respondents may consolidate multiple positions with identical job titles in their organizational chart by listing the position title and total number of positions rather than naming each individual staff member. However, the number of vacant positions under each consolidated title must be clearly indicated. For example, if multiple supervisory or service technician positions exist with some vacancies, the respondent may present this using a format that shows the total staffing and vacancy count rather than listing each person individually.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART

Instructions & Notices
The Respondent must provide an organizational chart for the business in a portable document format (.pdf).
If the business entity includes multiple offices/units across several regions/states/countries, the Respondent only needs to submit (an) organizational chart(s) for the office(s)/unit(s) that may provide services under this contract.
For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services solely operates in the State of Michigan. 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has offices in Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City. However, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services only expects staff from the Detroit office to provide services under this contract. So, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services will only need to provide an organizational chart for the Detroit Office.
The Respondent must clearly indicate those positions (if any) in the organizational chart that are vacant/unstaffed.
If a Respondent has multiple positions of the same job title in the organizational tree, the Respondent is NOT required to list all the staff persons under that title. The Respondent may simply list the job/position title and the number of positions under that title. However, the Respondent must indicate the number of vacant positions under that title.
For example, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services has four Supervisory Technicians who each manage three Service Technicians and their Apprentices. One Service Technician position is vacant and two Apprentice positions are vacant. Therefore, 123 CONSTRUCTION Services may present that portion of their organizational chart as follows:
Supervisory Technician – X 4
Service Technician – X 12, 1 vacancy
Apprentice – X 12, 2 vacancies
