About this file

This adaptive specifications document pertains to BC-BID-26-07, a traffic signal repair parts procurement for New Jersey. The bid solicitation calls for the furnish and delivery of traffic signal repair parts for a 12-month period commencing on the date of award. The specifications detail two primary equipment components: the CohuHD RISE 4220HD dome positioning system and the EtherWAN EX78900 Series hardened managed Gigabit Ethernet switch. The RISE 4220HD is a high-definition IP68-rated dome camera system featuring 1080p imaging with 30x optical zoom, H.264 compression, ONVIF Profile S and NTCIP 1205 compliance, and operational capability in hurricane force winds with temperature ranges from -40°C to 75°C. The equipment includes a three-year standard warranty and lifetime warranty on moisture ingress, with power delivery via single CAT5e/CAT6 cable with PoE++ support.

The EtherWAN EX78900 Series specifications document describes a DIN-rail mounted 16-port Gigabit switching platform designed for harsh environments, featuring 12 ports with 8 PoE ports supporting up to 60W power output per port and a total power budget of 240W, along with 4 Gigabit SFP ports for high-bandwidth communication. The switch includes advanced management capabilities such as SNMP, QoS, VLAN support, port mirroring, DHCP server/client functionality, and security features including IEEE 802.1x LAN access control, RADIUS authentication, SSH, and SSL encryption. Both products are manufactured or supplied in the United States and are designed to operate reliably in the harsh environmental conditions typical of outdoor traffic signal and surveillance applications. The specifications indicate these are specialized components for traffic management infrastructure requiring robust, weather-resistant connectivity and imaging solutions.

Digital Radar Sensor

Composite Cable

Description

This digital radar sensor composite cable allows power and serial communication signals to be passed to a digital radar traffic sensor using a single multi-conductor cable. The use of separate cables to carry these signals can be costly and is often cumbersome for installers when pulling cable through conduit. By combining all of the cables required for most digital radar traffic sensor installations into a single composite cable, we are able to offer a cost effective solution that makes it simple to stock, transport, and install the cable for your next project.

Features and Benefits

• Flexible UV-resistant outer jacket is durable, yet easy to work with

• Low capacitance twisted data pairs allow rror free communication with digital radar sensors

• 18 AWG power wires are ideal for providing power to sensors with minimal voltage drop

• Overall tape shield protects data signals from outside interference when properly grounded through the single common drain wire

• UL listed
