About this file

This is a certification document required by the City of Arlington, Texas for the Purchase Replacement Vehicles for Handitran solicitation. The certification requires proposers to attest to two conditions: the absence of unpaid federal tax liabilities that have been assessed and for which all judicial and administrative remedies have been exhausted or lapsed, and the absence of felony criminal convictions under federal law within the preceding twenty-four months. Proposers must complete the form by providing their company name, authorized representative information, title, signature, and date. The document includes a checkbox option for proposers unable to certify to either or both statements, with space to provide an explanation and corresponding signature authority.

The certification represents a material representation of fact upon which the City of Arlington relies when entering into the transaction. Proposers who cannot meet either certification requirement are permitted to submit an explanation, which must be signed by an authorized representative with the date of submission. This certification is a standard compliance requirement for public procurement and ensures that awarded vendors meet basic federal tax and criminal background standards.
