About this file
This document is a map appendix for the USFS California Regional Vault and Septic Pumping Services IDIQ contract. The maps illustrate the geographic scope and organizational structure of the contract across California's national forests.
The first map provides a statewide overview of California showing nine geographic zones defined by color: Northern West, Northern East, Central Sierra North, Central Sierra South, Southern Sierra North, Southern Sierra South, Southern West, and Southern East, with national forest boundaries indicated. Subsequent detailed maps display each zone individually, identifying specific national forests, ranger districts with estimated pumping locations marked by numbered circles, highways, and county boundaries. The Northern East Zone encompasses the Klamath, Modoc, Lassen, and Shasta-Trinity National Forests. The Northern West Zone includes Six Rivers, Shasta-Trinity, and Mendocino National Forests. The Central Sierra North Zone covers Plumas and Tahoe National Forests. The Central Sierra South Zone includes the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, Tahoe, and Eldorado National Forests. The Southern Sierra North Zone displays Stanislaus and Sierra National Forests. The Southern Sierra South Zone shows Inyo and Sequoia National Forests. The Southern West Zone depicts Los Padres National Forest. The Southern East Zone illustrates Angeles, San Bernardino, and Cleveland National Forests. Each map includes interstate highways, state highways, and other paved roads to facilitate contractor navigation and service delivery across the designated regions.
