About this file
This is a Solicitation Addendum One containing Questions and Answers for Solicitation Number 124677 OR issued by the State of Nebraska, Department of Administrative Services, State Purchasing Bureau, for Radio Studio Equipment intended for Nebraska Public Media's statewide radio network. The addendum, effective April 3, 2026, addresses ten clarification questions submitted by bidders regarding equipment specifications across twenty-one line items. Key clarifications include confirmation that the Broadcast Mixing Console frame type is vendor-specified as Table Top; the 4 Channel Power Inserter refers to a phantom power supply with minimum 4 channels; the Mix Engine specification requires equipment capable of running without a physical console such as the Quasar RPS Mix Engine; the Axia Studio Edge or equivalent must include redundant backup power supply; input modules may ship mounted in frames with customer-specified configuration at time of order; extended warranty coverage is required on consoles and mix engines; the MTS-MON unit should be factory-installed; the Quasar SR-4FAD console should be quoted as two separate 16-fader channel consoles; and IP drivers specified are 4-channel units. The electronic bid submission deadline remains April 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time via ShareFile, with Intent to Award posting scheduled for April 14, 2026 and contract commencement on April 30, 2026.
The solicitation specifies that all equipment must be new, latest-model units under standard production with no used, refurbished, demonstrator, prototype, or discontinued items acceptable, and bidders must submit fixed-price proposals inclusive of all transportation and delivery charges on an F.O.B. destination basis with desired delivery within forty-five days of order receipt. All proposed equipment must include a one-year manufacturer's warranty covering performance, suitability, and freedom from defects with repair or replacement at no cost to the State. The resulting contract is non-exclusive with a potential duration of up to eighteen months from the Intent to Award posting date, provided responsive bidders maintain original pricing throughout the contract period. No set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendor information, or specific award values are disclosed in the available solicitation documents; pricing will be determined through competitive bidding based on the itemized cost sheet covering the twenty-one line items of broadcast equipment and systems.
