About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for an Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) replacement system. ODOT seeks information about cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ITSM solutions that could improve services and increase productivity, with responses due by January 23, 2025. The agency anticipates releasing a formal RFQ or RFP by March 1, 2025, with implementation of the new system by October 2025. The system must serve approximately 5,000 ODOT employees, including 252 IT personnel, and provide incident management, asset management, service request management, and reporting capabilities, with potential expansion to include knowledge management, change management, and service level management.
The RFI anticipates utilizing suppliers from Statewide Purchase Agreement 9404, listing current participants including A&T, CDWG, Carahsoft Technology Corp., Lumen, SHI, Smartronix, and Strategic Communications. The system must meet specific technical requirements including integration with ODOT's Entra or on-premises Active Directory, 99.8% uptime, mobile app functionality, and compliance with ODOT's cloud use requirements. The solution must be hosted within the continental United States and support non-IT business cases. No contracts will be awarded as a result of this RFI, and all responses are voluntary and non-binding.
