This units’ specifications and the design of the Hi-bay storage racks are one system, for which each system must have the correct specifications and tolerances to work properly together.
To ensure success, the unit is designed specifically to handle Tri-wall boxes 48” W x 40” D x 45”H, weight 2800-lbs (not the 3500-lbs load as the rack has been requested to be specified) in a 72” wide very narrow aisle (VNA) and the storage racks are designed to accommodate the capacities and required clearances, hence the storage system will meet the desired function.
The wire-guided man-up turret forklift truck and the wire guidance system will have all the standard features listed on page 3 of 3 and these customized specifications to match the unit to the Hi-bay racks and wire guidance system. (a) Basic capacity is 3,000-lbs at 24” load center. (b) 48-Volt electrical system. (c) Wire guidance sensors 5.2kHz, 300ma p-p (code 515).
Provide unit with quickest charge time battery with minimum battery capacity to operate 16 hours per day (Monday-Friday) based upon weight and distance travel expectations per operational requirements. Ensure forklift battery is provided with a single point automatic watering system as described below. Forklift must interface with JSNs U0096, U1021, and U1007.
JSN U0060
(d) Carriage to be 56” wide. (e) Mast: 118” lowered mast height, 226” forklift height, operator deck height 158” (code 5371). (h) Forks: 40” long (code 333), (i) Aisle lighting front and rear (code 487). (j) Body Harness with tether (code 101144). (k) Fire Extinguisher (code 546). (l) Flip-up side gates with power disconnect switches (code 542). (m) Clipboard holder (code 100289). (n) Operator beverage holder (code793). (o) Travel alarm-forward & reverse (code 598). (p) UL safety label ‘E” rating (code 324). (q) Communication power hook-up (10amp) and hardware mounting bracket (code 100171). (r) Manuals: parts & operator & maintenance, English, paper copy (code 369).
o Including required power: Qty. (1) new battery: #24-125C-13, lead-acid type, to include installed single-point automatic watering system: tubing, water level indicator light, direct fill link, water container, and special hosing.
o Including: Required OSHA training class, “Safety-On-The-Move” class, one day/all day, 12 people max. All delivered, tested, and training.
Because of the agencies particular and unique loads will be stored in a specially designed hi-bay storage rack system and designed for compatibility with a specialized very narrow aisle (VNA) wire guide unit of mechanized material handling equipment, this system is unique.
