About this file
This is a Proposal Questionnaire document for the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) Information Technology Department's Request for List (RLI) to establish a pre-qualified list of IT consultant services providers in Florida. The solicitation seeks to develop a library of professional information technology consulting services to be provided on an as-needed basis by multiple qualified proposers. The BSO anticipates awarding agreements to multiple responsive and responsible proposers capable of delivering consulting services personnel to support the Information Technology Department's operational needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. The questionnaire format indicates that proposers will be evaluated based on their responses to specific evaluation criteria rather than through traditional competitive bid pricing.
The document serves as the evaluation mechanism for determining proposer qualifications and capabilities to provide IT consulting services under the pre-qualified list framework. By establishing multiple pre-qualified vendors through this RLI process, the BSO creates flexibility to request services from qualified providers as specific needs arise without conducting individual competitive procurements for each engagement. This approach allows the agency to maintain a vetted pool of capable IT consultants while ensuring cost efficiency and timeliness in addressing the Information Technology Department's professional services requirements.
