About this file
This document is a site map and access/staging guidance for the Towpath Trail Mile Marker 20 South project located in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio.
The MM 20 South site map (Figure 23) depicts the project location along the Cuyahoga River with two defined workspace areas: a permanent workspace (0.633 acres) and a temporary workspace (0.442 acres). The map identifies existing access via major south access point at 4,266 feet and shows proposed access routes marked in red and yellow lines. The contractor bears responsibility for determining the means and methods of work completion, including planned access and staging arrangements. Primary access and staging are designated off Standford Road with material staging behind a barn or in another suitable laydown area, with an established haul road across the field to the project site. An alternative staging location option exists north of the site along the tow path; however, this alternative requires temporary removal of a bridge, installation of a culvert designed to accommodate contractor traffic load requirements, and subsequent bridge re-installation upon project completion. The information referenced derives from the 2023 Board of Directors documentation.
