- Data types: Federal transaction, Government file
- Fields:
parent_record
Use this relationship to see which opportunity, award, IDV, or vehicle a government file was collected under. It describes the file's source-record context, not ownership by a GovTribe user or workspace.
For a Federal transaction, parent_record is one immediate parent object. It contains the stored govtribe_id, recognized govtribe_type, and status (resolved or unavailable). Resolved parents add an available name, GovTribe URL, and contract or grant number where supported. Subaward transactions point to subaward records. Subaward links are not universally available. Unknown parent types return a null recognized type rather than inventing lineage.
