Assistance type identifies the form of federal financial assistance, such as a project grant, formula grant, cooperative agreement, loan, or insurance. Use it to understand how the government delivered assistance, separately from the program topic or recipient category.
Values
GovTribe normalizes federal assistance type codes into customer-facing labels. Not every value appears on every data type.
