National interest action codes are SAM.gov Contract Data event or mission tags for contract actions connected to government-wide priorities such as disaster response, military operations, or public health emergencies. Interpret the value as a source-reported spending context flag, not as the buying agency or contract purpose by itself.

Values

GovTribe normalizes national interest action codes into customer-facing event or mission labels. Not every value appears on every data type. Some response surfaces may expose no reported action as null instead of the normalized None label.
